About Ms. Laxdal
Hi, my name is Sydney Laxdal, I am a Special Education Teacher at Valley-Edinburg. This is my fourth year of working within school district. This year, I will be teaching in our Edinburg school building. I grew up in Cavalier, ND and attended college at the Minnesota State University-Moorhead, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. Last year, I graduated from University of North Dakota, with a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in special education and disabilities. This degree allows me to work with all types of disabilities. If not found in a classroom, you can find me in a gym coaching volleyball. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and being outdoors.
