About Mr. Durand
My name is Al Durand and I teach Elementary Physical Education for grades K-3 in Hoople and ITV Psychology/Sociology at the High School in Edinburg. I grew up in the Oakwood/Grafton area and graduated High School from Cardinal Muench Seminary in Fargo in 1979. I attended two additional years of college at the Seminary while attending NDSU and graduated in 1985. I taught and coached 3 years in Balta, ND and came to Valley Public Schools of Crystal and Hoople in 1988. While at Valley, and since Valley and Edinburg consolidated, I have taught a variety of classes. My wife, Christl, and I live in Hoople and have two children, Danielle and Brendan.
