About Mrs. Hutchison
Hello, my name is Katie Hutchison and I am the 5th grade teacher at Valley-Edinburg. I am a first time teacher and first time mom. I attended Oregon State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. I received my ready to teach certificate this last year through the American Board while working as a paraprofessional in the Crystal building. I was inspired to teach by my fellow coworkers at the compassion and determination they have to educate and support the students in our community. In my free time I like spend time with my family and in nature.
